Post price rise we're trying to release an update, announcement, new design or giveaway once a day for 60 days!
We may need to call it early if we get swamped with orders but we're gunna do our best :)

60 DAYS OF UPDATES DAY 1:
SOCKET HANDLED FALO

The socket khukuri is now retired from our website and has been replaced with a socket handle option on the Falo khukuri! This model is a much better fit to to the handle style- it is straighter with less tip drop which makes it more functional when fitted to a shaft. The blade finish on the knife also goes perfectly to the raw forged surfaces on the socket handle. Finally it means that this socket handle can serve more customers with 8", 10", 12" and 14" options :)
Stay tuned for more updates over the coming weeks!

60 DAYS OF UPDATES DAY 2:
DOVETAILED BOLSTERS
On our regent series we use solid plate metal bolsters at the front of the blade. Aside from looking great they help control the weight distribution on the blade and help to protect organic handle materials from damage. We've recently got a belt grinder to help with flattening tangs/scales and have also used this tool to dovetail these bolsters. This inwards angled portion helps to trap the scale underneath and stop it from pulling away from the tang if it shrinks. It's also just a nice aesthetic touch on these more classically styled knives :)

60 DAYS OF UPDATES DAY 3:
DHAKA TOPI
Lots of people have asked so we're selling dhaka topi now! These are a traditional nepalese hat that are worn as part of male formalwear- either on special occasions or for people who want to look respectable and traditional in their daily lives.
This one is in a whoooollee new section of the website- I wonder what else could go in there?🤔🤔🤔

Very nice! I like the modern dark version. My dad brought back a bunch of Dhaka Topi the last time he went home. Unfortunately my head is the size of a bowling ball, so only two were a perfect fit.

Black/dark coloured Baseball caps with just your logo in white thread would look really cool.

Perhaps you could add some patches in this section too. It would be cheaper to ship and can be used on anything, no sizing issues.

We're definitely thinking about patches and caps! Manufacturing is a bit of a stumbling block on those though as we're wanting do everything 100% in Nepal and navigating quality on items such as that can prove challenging.
