This is my 600th post! In celebration of it, I will use it to announce the winner of my 600th post giveaway contest, in which everyone on Bladeforums was invited to guess what my father’s favorite number was.
With a little further ado, it is the most commonly occurring random number.
It is the length, in feet, of a pit stop service area in the Indianapolis Speedway.
Rolaids absorbs this number times its weight in stomach acid.
It is the approximate weight, in pounds, of one cubic foot of human flesh.
It is the number of times the refrain is repeated in the song “Macerena”.
It is the number of books published by Dr. Seuss in his life time.
It is the weight, in pounds, of the Maltese Falcon.
It is, according to Ptolemy, the number of constellations there are.
It is the total number of posts in this thread prior to this post.
It is the number 47.
The Winner is lazi, with a guess of 45.
lazi, PM me, or email me at drking13(at)earthlink.net with your address and I will send your knife.
Thank you, everyone for indulging me in this little game.

Great post! Thanks for giving us all a shot at being as cool as MacGyver! A Victorinox Swiss Army knife was my first knife, given to me on my 12th birthday. They will always have a special place in my heart. Haha.

THANKS a ton David!!!

Congrats on your 600th post and many more!

I look forward to when I return the gesture to my fellow knife lovers!!!!

Just picked up my SAK in the mail today!!!! This one has just started a new chapter in it's life! Lanyard works great from my pocket.

Thanks Pygmalion!!!

It came out the box and I looked it over and then stuck in my pocket. I took it to work and have already started putting to use.
