605 Kit Question

How does one go about removing and then replacing the thumbob to work a hand rubbed finish on the blade? Thanks.

I didn't take mine off but I would think that it is on a threaded shaft. If you grasp it with a rag and pliers you should be able to unscrew it without marring the bobs. Give it a try and let us know how you make out.

There's very small holes in the sides of the studs. If you can find a punch or peice of music wire small enough you can put it in the holes and use it to twist them out. You should only have to get it loose and then you can turn it by hand.
