Up for sale is a factory Colt Firearms Division aerial flare launcher kit complete called the StarFire. As far as I can tell these units were standard issue in the 1960's with military personnel and pilots during the Vietnam war.
This example is complete. It comes in the original plastic case with the instructions, has all six flares, the pen, a pocket clip, a bracket for mounting and even the screw for the bracket. The case is complete but has a small crack and some discoloration. See pix
