66 Calf Roper I'm I Jinxed

Randy, I’m kinda late to the party. I’ve got an 82 that I like but don’t love. If you wanna try it out for awhile, I’d loan her to ya. Just make sure you don’t polish off any patina you put on it.

That's so generous Joey but I decided to just buy another 66 Mike had one at CK.

You can't bother to care for them enough to keep track of them, so better just stick to rough riders or those horrid green snap off utility knives.

Seriously. Not like I care about your money or lost knives (poor fellas, carbon steel doesn't take abandonment well), but doesn't this seem wasteful to you?

The 82 is a satisfactory pattern. I enjoy it so far, tho its not quite as svelt as the OT61 as I thought it would be. Not an issue, tho, still plenty slim.

So yea, an 82 will be a splendid knife for you to obsess over for a week, then lose over the back of the couch. Or wherever. It is larger than the 66 by a bolster and then some, but not enough to make it any easier to find once you lose interest in it.

Shoot, loosing a gec sucks. But for the most part, they are replaceable... I've used and carried customs to do work, like castrating cows...

I lost an XL gunstock one of a kind, J. OESER for about a week, more than one time!!! That will make you sick up..... but instill carry customs worth a heck of a lot more than a handful of GEC knives.

I frequently "loose" gec knives occasionally, but so far, I've recovered all of them.

Anyone who loses his knife should be consoled and given a scuba diving holiday in hawaii
near that dead whale carcase with the giant white pointer.
If anyone needs me I'll be lurking under my bridge waiting for the goats.
:)

This man lost a GEC .
Here the hand of the knife god points him to his fate in the icy shark patrolled waters off this beach in Hawaii.
OK OK
I was drummed out of the Royal Australian Troll Regiment for laughing like an insane Kookaburra....but I'll show them....
Seriously Randy I know those lost sheep will reappear....calves not sheep.:D

Looks good, Randy; those Calf Ropers seem like they are dandy medium stockman knives!:cool:
Sorry you were jinxed with the first two, and I hope this one sticks around "until death do you part"! ;)
Have you ever considered trying a pocket slip with a loop attached to it so you can attach the sheath to your belt or belt loop and then stick it in a pocket? I think @Horsewright calls them Buckaroo sheaths. They're a nice way to keep a knife without a bail or lanyard attached to you, except when you're actually using it.
