Good morning! I’ve got a new high end piece finished up this week. This is one of my 7” Bunka models but in a really fun steel combo and exotic wood handle. The blade steel is Sg2 core with stainless and nickel cladding, cold worked before heat treating to give a slight marbled or suminagashi look to the pattern. Hollow ground on a 24” radius platen down to a very thin cutting edge and texturing left on the flats. The entire choil and spine are rounded and mirror polished for comfort and a contrast to the more matte finish on the blade. The handle is stabilized Celebics from
