Hello everybody!
Something a little different this time. I ground the blade almost all the way prior the heat treatment and after that I ground to a zero convex edge. THIS IS NOT A SAN MAI BLADE
Steel: 1084
Handle: oil blackened mild steel bolster and dyed curly maple handle.
Dimensions:
Overall lenght: 32.5 cm - 12.79''
Blade lenght: 18 cm - 7.08 ''
Blade widht: 4.8 cm - 1.88''
Blade thickness: 5 mm - 0.196''
Handle lenght: 12 cm - 4.72''
Flat grind with a convex zero edge. There is an aesthetic blemish on the guard, I point it out on the video, the price reflects the blemish. The flats are hammer textured.
It comes with a black leather sheath. The sheath is not ready yet, you can choose for either right or left carry.
