7-1/2" Aikuchi in Crucible CPM-4v and Carbon Fiber UPDATED with saya pics!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. This one was a long time coming, but once it took off it really rolled.

Please don't put it in Kydex ;)

Okay. Maybe you'll like what I've got for this one. Working on it now...;)

How did hand sanding 4v feel?

I wish more people understood what this takes. Obviously you already know the answer. Oddly enough, this one wasn't the worst - I did a blade last year that was six inches longer. Ugh. This stuff is harder to hand sand fully annealed than W2 is fully hardened.

Really superb buddy

Next level

This modern refined style is so distinctively you

Great job

Please don't put it in Kydex ;)

I can bet in one dollar that he will use Braided Carbon Fibre Sleeve for Sheath ................... :) Beautiful knife ............

Really amazing! Such a great looking piece. One feature your knives have that I love is the understated beveled spine and area at the front of the ricasso. Such a minor detail but adds enormous character.
The rest of the knife is pretty cool too 😜.

It's that obvious, isn't it... :D

 Matthew , I wonder if it is possible to incorporate little kevlar in sheath ? Just small detail ,somewhere , somehow ? I think it would be great ....... all black and a little yellow .Kevlar have beautiful color too when is soaked in epoxy and you can get it ......Braided KEVLAR® Biaxial Sleeve or KEVLAR® Twill Weave Fabric ?

Just idea ....................:)

Finally finished the saya. Terotuf core, three layers of carbon fiber sleeve. A touch of carbon fiber wrap to tie it all together.
