Anybody else catch this "docu-drama" on Discovery tonight? It was surprisingly entertaining and informative, though chilling.

It was a very good show. Very realistic and lots of good info. If the comet would be half the size the damege it would cause might be just a little less then the big one. I guess it does show that it realy is the luck of the draw no matter how well you prepare sometimes you just cant escape it.

I watched it a few weeks ago on one of the other memebers of the Discovery network, not sure which one. Decent.
There is some question on the superheated particles baking everything theory. If it is right, then we've got bigger problems than the morning after. Like, your belly button just popped out- does that mean you are done cooking?
In other ways, maybe a little more optimistic. But if you sum it up as "big rock/iceball hits, EVERYBODY DIES!" you don't sell much ad time.
