Here's a Bowie that I just completed. The blade is 11.5" (16.5" OAL) made of a 7-bar Turkish billet by Jerry Rados. The photo really doesn't do this blade justice. The pattern really "talks" first hand. When I get some professional photography done, I will update this. The handle is from fossil walrus.

Hope you like it.

Ive got a feeling that is incredible in person, but I have a feeling the pics do not do it justice.

DAMN that is beautiful!

the Damascus pattern almost looks like the finish that's put on guns called a jeweled finish or engine turned

Thanks for the kind words but Jerry Rados deserves most of the credit for such a stunning billet of steel. He tells me that he has 90-95% lost in making this pattern. That's 20 lbs. of steel to make this one knife. The photos don't really show it but it's amazing how he can get all seven bars to line up. When it comes to a Turkish, no one else really competes IMHO.

Damn that's handsome! I have to mirror others here and say I'm sure that's a whole different beast when see in person.
