It's time to sell some knives that aren't getting carried.
All knives are stainless, have the factory edge, and have been handled; expect light handling marks on the bolsters and a bit of patina on brass liners. No blade play, except for the Tuna Valley and Ka-Bar (see below). They've all been stored in my knife chest in a smoke-free home. Everything else about them is described on a knife-by-knife basis below, and I've tried to be thorough.
PayPal only, "Goods and Services" only, continental US only. I'm covering USPS Priority Mail shipping and the PayPal fee. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
The first "I'll take it" in this thread followed by a PM gets dibs. (Questions, "I might be interested if," and the like aren't the same as claiming a knife.) If I haven't seen your PM within an hour, I'll assume you changed your mind and the knife will be available to others.
The numbers in the list above match the order of the knives in the photos, left to right. (For more flattering photos, see my photo album.
Thanks for looking!

- SOLD ($60) 2015 Tuna Valley Railsplitter in buffalo horn - This knife came to me with serious side-to-side blade play in the clip and pen blades. It went straight back to Queen for repairs, and now has a bit of play in the clip and pen. It came from the factory with a 0.5 mm gap between the bottom pile side bolster and the horn cover on one edge; it's hard to see in photos, but is visible in this one. I asked Queen to preserve the covers because of the horn, which is some of the most beautifully figured buffalo I've ever seen. 154 CM blade steel. There's a touch of blade rub on the clip. Nice snap. Pulls: pen 3, sheepsfoot 4, clip 5 or 6. The walk on the clip feels a bit rough to me, but it may just need oil. I love this knife, warts and all, but it's too chunky for me and just never finds its way into my pocket. I paid $125 new.
- SOLD ($40) 2015 Schatt & Morgan #99 Scout in ebony - I've carried this one several times. Blade sits a bit to the right. Nice walk and talk, 5 pull. Pinchable if you get just the right grip. Excellent fit and finish.
- $50 > $40 2015 Schatt & Morgan #69 sheepsfoot Barlow in Winterbottom bone - I've carried this one quite a bit, and used it regularly, albeit lightly. Both covers have a bit of separation from the liners along the blade well, near the bolster, maybe 0.5 mm on the mark side and 0.25 mm on the pile side. There is a small black spot on the mark side bolster that I've never tried to buff out. Dead center blade, snap on the lighter end of the spectrum, pull is a 3 or 4; eminently pinchable. ATS 34 blade steel, and it cuts like a laser. Has a half-stop. I love this knife, but my Viper has taken its spot in my rotation. I paid $110 new.
- SOLD ($30) 2002 Schatt & Morgan Senator in black mother-of-pearl - Pull is a 4 on both blades. Some light marks on the bolsters (maybe from age?). There's an incredibly light scratch in the pearl on the mark side, near the center pin; it's tough to find and doesn't show up at all in photors. It's also hard to capture the depth of the pearl in photos, but it's beautiful! Just a lovely little gent's knife, and with an unusual -- and useful -- blade combo.
- SOLD ($65) 2005 Schatt & Morgan File & Wire single-blade Gunstock in worm groove bone - Rock solid, beautiful fit and finish all around, 5 pull and very pinchable, ATS 34 blade steel. There's some wear on the blade etch from where I've pinched it open. Snap is loud enough to startle my dog. S&M does a great job on their File & Wire knives, and this is a perfect example.
- SOLD ($15) 2015 Case 2137 SS Sodbuster Jr. in black Delrin - Unused, but it sat in a plastic baggie inside my hiking pack for a couple of trips. As-ground blade, pinchable, pull is a 4. Tip is pretty dull, as it came from the factory.
- SOLD ($65) 1985 Ka-Bar KA-BAR-LO Barlow in stag - For its age, this knife is in great shape. I've carried it once or twice, and it doesn't look like the original owner carried it at all. Teensy bit of play in the clip. Nice walk and talk, 4 pull on both blades. Some scratches and light wear on the bolster. The stag is great, with a nifty furrow on the mark side, and a furrow and a sort of "fin" on the pile side, and nicely mellowed with age. I never buy stag without seeing it from every side, so I've included extra photos of this knife. I paid $125.
