American Style Bowie (C024)

I made a sheath for this knife and I didn't really like how the mirror finish on the blade looked in contrast with it so I handrubbed it, leaving only the spine and upper bever mirror polished. I've also made some lightning like engravings on the ricasso area.

Blade: 7" in 5160, satin handrubbed with spine and upper bever mirror polished. Full flat tang. Overall Length: 12"

Handle: polished red deer stag slabs mimicking ivory with filed guard in nickel silver and ebony.

Sheath: frontier style in two tone hand stitched leather with a holding system in leather strains with sterling silver fittings and a real ivory (sperm whale) lock piece. The fittings on the lanyard are sterling silver too.

Price is $450 shipped (DHL 2nd day)
