Butch, found my info from knife i bought in Feb. '08 and used that same email add. to pay PP. seems to have worked.
and thanks, i'm lucky this great looking knife didn't get snapped up before i saw it.
the parer i got from you is a fantastic slicer and i'm sure this one will be too.
i'll post back with enthusiasm for sure, when i pick it up at P.O.

picked up this knife yesterday. thank you Butch. beautiful, balanced and sharp ! exactly what i have been looking for, a long, relatively thin blade for carving meat, although i'm sure it will also be used for many kitchen chores.
the spalted maple is very attractive, but it's the thin sharp blade that i really wanted. a great "big brother" to the super sharp little paring knife i got from you some months ago. finally, my kitchen is now properly equiped with SHARP knives ( 2 Harners and 1 Snody).
so thanks again Butch, you make fine knives, super sharp and a real pleasure to use (and for a very reasonable price). roland
