Be careful with some of the "great deals" you get there. I have bought ones in the past on the "closeout" that ended up being defective, either by finish, lockup, or blade grind. A few have been, the jot-sing khalsa (all three I bought!), handles were dinged up, scratched, an endura (2ea), lockup very loose, four standards in G-10, all handles were cracked, one had really loose lockup, five jess horn lightweights, lockup was bad on all but one. Now you think I would have learned my lesson, but I have now, it just took a while. If any of you remember the wayne goddard lightweights they were selling a little over a year ago, many of these were defective to the point that almost all were returned to them, (dont ask how I know) so be careful, smokie is known to sell seconds. they many times, by admonition of someone who works there, not going to say who, told me that when they get a second if they feel it doesnt look to bad will sell it as a standard product, but on a "closeout" price. Not knocking on those guys, just be warned. some of you may not mind buying a "second" product, but I do. I think buying a factory knife has its natural drawbacks, (finish, ect.) but Im talking about rejects from the factory.
