70 Candles for Waynorth on the 16th of Sept.

I'm in the same boat as SadSappySucker! I've always had traditional folders, usually carrying Schade USA for the longest time. But just got into these fine creations. And now, like SSS, I too have become obsessed.

You seem so young in person and in your photos. So the rumors must be true--Charlows have mystical powers and are indeed associated with the Fountain of Youth! Ponce de Leon was a mere 500 years to early. Tell me, must you imbibe Charlow blade grindings or just weight your pockets down with them?

My Grandparents lived into their middle 90s - here's hoping!

I did! On our little mini-vacation, my sweetie bought me some mini-tools!
An Italian pruning knife, and a French corkscrew. The pruning knife is barely used, snappy and sharp, and the Cork-puller is an old forged piece marked "LANGLOIS". The handle appears to be dyed horn, with brass caps.
Both are pocket sized, but punch above their respective weights!

Kinda gets the grape harvest coming and going!!

you know, seeing Trevytrev just gave me an idea (yeah going off topic here, but i already wished the man a happy bday right :D)
what if Charlie went all out on the sodbuster pattern like he did the barlow?? I mean look at all the ways he examined that particular old timey, traditional
what could he do with the soddie??
