70 layer Wenger

Well, that'd be good for the collector.

Akin to those knives they made in the 1800s to showcase a firms skills and wares.

Thanks for the link.

Obviously that's a novelty. There's just no way it would be practical or effective.

;)

I would have left off a pair of pliers for some toilet paper. Hey, was that an electric razor in there?

There are way more than 36 layers. I counted 30 layers in just half of the knife.

You have to remember that the wide tools don't count as one layer. They are 3-4 layers for some of those wide tools.

I bet it has at least 60 layers. ;)

Some are multi function, like the driver/opener/stripper, awl/reamer, etc.

Silly me.....I apparently was harboring the mistaken belief that layers were defined by the liners. All I know is I've been carrying the largest Vic since the early '70s.....call it...., define them HOWEVER.......    :D

I believe layers are defined by the amount of backsprings, but I could be wrong.

You can see that some of those tools have 3 backsprings. ;)
