By request of USMule, here we go.....

I'll start with my small assortment of 700's

701 pre-'86

703's

1988 703 with Gaboon Ebony scales, spey blade was replaced with a 1991 spey blade.

1991 703 Sheepsfoot only with Amboyna Burl made from leftover parts from the knife project above.

2001 703 with no shield, from the factory

1990 709 with Amboyna Burl scales

1998 and 1997 705's

The three 700's I have customized, all posing together for a family photo

At some point I will aquire a 704, but other Bucks are higher up on the want/need list ;)

Totally Awesome! all beauties! these are definetly worthy of its own thread!

I totally agree! I never knew about the 700's until last week I have never seen anyone in my life time with one, & that they came in so many versions. "I Love the Stag's" a Great looking little pocket knife & heavy duty! for its size.
I love how it feels [sturdy] and that I have something in my hand.

My favorite 700. A 703 with Mallard shield on Rosewood handle and flying Mallards on the blade.

Nice! what I love about them is they feel [solid] like how you might think about tank, HEAVY & ARMOURED" I don't get that same feeling from my few 300's I own or the 505 those I feel like I'll break them! like Lenny in Mice Men if I hold them to tightly. LOL

I also realize I don't have all the 300's to make a fair comparision.......I have the 309 & 301 and thats it for trying to get the right fit "for me" tried the 505 & even Bucklite, but so far I like the like the feel of my 703 Colt, I still like my Shrade U.S.A. LB3 small but strong an some weight to it. But the 703 Colt gives me a bit more options with the extra blade.

thats got some beautiful wood grain & nice colouring......imafritz, thanks for sharing.

loving the look of the 700 series knives

how available are they these days?

I'd love a 701 but can't seem to find a dealer on here?

For you 700 folks here is 'Sheriff' Rusty D.'s Atlanta Blade Show display. Of course, to stand up close and ask him questions is lots better.... 300

This series was discontinued in 2000 and the last 703's went thru the factor in 2002.
A good knife series gone. You'll have to locate them somewhere else. DM
