730-1501 has arrived.

I paid for mine today, the total was $352.67 shipped. I think they take a day for the payment to process before they ship. I think is about 3:30 A.M their time so I imagine I will get shipping info later tonight. From what I gather it takes about a week to arrive. Can't wait for mine.
 
the seller is RGH Knives in Taiwan. I spoke with a very nice lady named Rose via email and had no problems conducting the transaction. Mine's stuck in USPS limbo but hopefully I'll have it tomorrow
 
I asked my Taiwanese friend to order one for me. You also can specify the number you want (xxx/250) but you need to call them before you place order.
I will get it this weekend. can't wait!
 
Why can't Benchmade, who makes this stuff in the US, put these cool knives in US retailers? Is this made overseas or something?
 
#70 is in the mail to me....... somewhere........ Shipped today.
Ordered it online Friday. You have to use a translation page , I used Google.
Got an email yesterday asking what number I wanted.
Its a huge pain, but should be worth it. Have a handful of the KW 730's in M390.
Its a favorite.

Because some dealer outside USA ordered that model for himself and he paid for all 250 knives, so he can sell it now wherever he want.

250 pieces produced.

Someone mentioned that it's a Russian LE but it seems like only the Taipei dealer has them now.

I hear you. It's this thread that put me over the edge.

My pic's really don't do justice to the CF scales. It looks so much better in person. I think MCM's pic's really show it a lot better. Not to mention the great feel in hand typical of the Ares.

For what it's worth, f&f wise the one I received is about perfect. Or as perfect as a production knife realistically can be. I couldn't find any flaws and the and AXIS is as smooth as it gets.

BM really did good on this one!
 
Sent an e-mail asking about this. Hopefully I can get one, but I'm pretty inept on translate.
 
Congrats. Already there's a 730-1501 on the large auction site for approaching $500, low number too. But Is it worth it? ...aside please tell me about your tan Limited; it's great looking and not black!
 
Got the translate down a bit and ordered from their site, hopefully I didn't screw it up my address. Shipped today, approx. $320 US total at the current exchange rate.

That one is 730-1303. I can't remember when exactly I got that one. Probably in early 2014.
