I was just wondering with the 2014 forum knife out now and the Washington Jack and 77 Barlow on deck is the 77 frame going to be the next 15 frame knife? Where we will have all kinds of variations to choose from. My forum knife feels great in the hand and it's size is just perfect for EDC so I would love to see some more options done on this frame. What do you guys think, what would you like to see? I personally would like to see the same clip point blade with barehead ebony scales, or maybe some barehead rust red bone.

I have a forum knife on the way and I'm on the reserve list for a Blackwood 77 Barlow. I love my 15, but a slightly larger size would be welcome. I know there's a Tidioute 77 in the works in addition to all the ones you mentioned already.

Could be, but they are very different animals and that's a good thing.

The 15 is a fine size and not too heavy. I have a Forum Knife crossing the Atlantic (at this very second??) so I can't yet comment on the dimensions, but it appears burlier than the 15, is brass lined and not Barehead (Barlow excluded). Both are patterns you'll want I'd wager :D

That 77 frame sure looks like a good user to me. I still have a soft spot for the 15's but I'm going to give the 77 a try.

The 77's just hit the KSF website a few minutes ago. If you want one they are going fast!!!!!!!!

Yeah they are pretty different size wise, I was looking more or less at the patterns being similar in shape. The Washington Jack and 77 Barlow are both awesome but unfortunately I missed the pre-order for both of them. So yes I would/do want both of them.

I hope so. The forum knife is a honey, but a single clip barehead with peachseed-esque bone scales would be a doozy.

They went fast, that is for sure.

I'm on the reserve list for the 77 barlow black wood as well. It's going to be fantastic. Hope I get one.

Would someone be kind enough to post a pic of a 77 and 15 next to each other? I think it's going to be another couple of weeks before my Forum knife arrives

Thank you very much indeed Al, those are three beautiful knives there  I am now all the more excited about the Forum Knife, which is hopefully winging its way across the Atlantic :)
