Hello everybody!

As you may have noticed, I do not post that frequently nowadays. There reason being, I'm working in construction at the same time to cover my expenses therefore I have much less time in the shop. The knives I'm going to make in the near future (other than custom orders) will be mostly fighters, since they are my favourites.
This is one of them, a lovely fighter, light and lively in the hand for its size and ready to serve! It sports a hamon and a rosewood handle. Made from 26c3 steel and taken to a fine edge. I wouldn't consider this knife as a hard user due to the nature of the steel and the geometry of it.

Steel: 26c3
Handle: distressed oil blackened stainless steel guard and santos rosewood handle

Dimensions:
Overall lenght: 37 cm -14.56''
Blade lenght: 22 cm - 8.66''
Blade widht: 4.7 cm - 1.85''
Blade thickness: 5 mm - 0.196''
Handle lenght: 12.5 cm - 4.92''

Flat grind with a convex edge. Differentially heat treated with a hamon. My pictures are quite awful, the video in HD is a better representation. The clip is taken to a zero edge, not shaving sharp but will do some damage.

It comes with a black buffalo leather sheath. The sheath is not ready yet, you can choose for either right or left carry.

Thanks for looking!
Tony.

If this were any other steel, it would be mine. I just am not familiar with it.

The fact that you are focusing on fighters is GREAT news! I will own one of your knives, rest assured.

Thank you guys for your kind words!

26c3 is produced by Uddeholmstrip as a razor/scalpel steel. It's a relatively low alloy but really low on impurities. Takes a high hardness and really fine edge. Many compare it with Hitachi #1 and call it spicy white.
