Finally got around to taking a photo of these, too bad I traded/sold the Umnumzaans, they would have made a nice addition hi-lighting the differences between different models.

From top to Bottom:

1. Chris Reeve Green Beret 5.5" - 2010
2. Large Annual "Redwood Burl" Sebenza - 2006
3. Large Regular "Stars and Stripes" Sebenza w/ BG-42 - 2001
4. Large Regular N.I.C.A. Tanto w/ BG-42 - 1999
5. Ti-Lock - 2011
6. Small Annual "Box Elder" Sebenza - 2002
7. Small Regular "Websight" Sebenza w/ wide jimping & dual thumb-stud - 2004
8. Umfaan "ZigZag" w/ BG-42 - 1998

Great line up. The Tanto actually looks rather nice there (I don't normally like tantos). For some reason I've never totally liked the Sebenza's blade shape and it's pointedness.

What do you think of the Ti-Lock - 2011 ?

Great looking collection  and comparison photo's:...love that Websight sebe, I wish i had bought one of those when they were still available:mad: and the Ti lock is really starting to grow on me.

What an excellent representative collection of Reeve cutlery. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Gives me some ideas......

Very nice collection, the ti-lock is starting to intrigue, what are your feelings on the ti-lock in comparison to the others in the collection?

So YOU'RE the one that snatched up that Large S&S Regular in BG-42 off of the bay, right in front of me! lol

Nice collection BTW!

Thanks Guys,
I don't see how I could ever sell any of these, they are all pretty sweet blades. I regret selling a small BG-42 Regular recently, but it went to a great home here on BF.

As for the Ti-Lock, I only opened it a handful of times before giving it to a friend today... I figure (hope) I can always pick up another.

Here's my honest review:

It takes some getting used to!

The handle feels small at first, depending on how you hold it, but once gripped, you will discover that the blade length, shape and position is amazing for such a small knife. It's also sharp as hell!

It's very smooth, but definitely has a different "sweet-spot" in regards to one handed thumb opening.
The thumb-stud is VERY slick and at first felt like your thumb would slide off of it, but it's so smooth, it doesn't take much pressure to open it.

The closing for me was two handed, and felt a bit tight at first. I am rarely nervous when closing a knife, but was being extra careful with this one as it was such a new mechanism, a very tight lock-up when engaged, and the thumb studs are so slick you have to get a good grip. I am sure it would become second nature once I carried it for a week.

The pocket clip was different, I didn't want to test it on my jeans as this was going to be a gift, as the Ti-finish seemed like it might mark easily, but the feel of the clip in hand when the knife was open, and overall style was not for me. The top on the clip where you can squeeze and loosen it with somewhat protruding and sticks up a bit.

I would definitely EDC this knife but with no clip, and carry in pocket in a sleeve/pouch, maybe one with it's own clip similar to a William Henry. Or get a regular style sebenza clip for it if possible?

I think once it's opened/closed a few more times, it would get smoother, and feel more natural, with smooth one handed opening and closing.

My overall impression on the Ti-lock? SWEET! Very unique and presentable, something I would not be afraid to wear and show off in public, and a great value for the machining that went in to it compared to other customs.

I think I'll hold off buying one until they make them with inlays. :)

No Umnumzaan or Mnandi? What are you, poor or something? :)
j/k - OUTSTANDING collection and a great comparison pic.
Thanks!

LOL, yea, I know. I try to keep the rare ones. I have owned and EDC'd three Umnumzaans, but when I can trade them, I do, as I know they are readily available.
My last Umnumzaan was a Tanto and was traded towards that small Annual Sebenza in the photo. :)

I have never owned a Mnandi. The only one I have ever seen that I really liked was on eBay, shared my b-day, and was gone before I acted on it.
If I ever see one of this caliber again, I would buy it:

Oh crap. Nevermind, just move along. Nothing to see here but some idiot who can't figure out the new software. :o

Where's the Umfaan love?
It's a beauty, & the twin to the one riding in my Mission Wallet.

I'd love to have a complete set of Umfaan's, so if anyone has something other than the ZigZag, send me an email.

How about the damascus ones? They are pretty rare and nice!
