This will probably be the last of the S35VN knives to post. 8" Kiritsuke, 13" OAL, taken nice and thin to 0.005" at the edge, and aggressively sharpened to 20 degrees inclusive. Heat treat by Peters' to 60 HRC, blade finished by hand to 600 grit satin. The handle is stabliziled fiddleback Claro Walnut and Maple Burl with black G10 and brass spacers, attached with one brass corby and my mosaic pin. The saya is quilted maple with hand carved blade relief, finished with tru-oil.

This one was kind of the experiment of the group, with a different handle shape compared to my usual. I have to say I'm very happy with how it looks and feels, and will probably do more off this pattern in the future. Putting the first coat of finish on these sayas is like christmas every time, the figure is mesmerizing. As always, thanks for having a look. First "I'll take it" has priority. I will be hunting from Friday 10/9 until Wednesday 10/14, so I will not be able to respond during that time. I will not post the blade on my site until I get back, so if you make a comment here during that time you can assume it is yours. $450 SOLD.
