I have the opportunity to go on a photo expedition (Yellowstone) this fall and I'm offering the following knives for sale in an attempt to raise the money needed for the trip. I'd really prefer not selling the knives, but this seems like my best opportunity to raise the money needed.
With one exception (the Roach Belly) all knives offered are a catch and release thing; meaning they are unused, and will arrive (to your door) in the same condition as I received them from the maker.
The prices shown include shipping and insurance costs (USAbuyers).
I am willing to sell to buyers outside the USA - but those buyers will have to pay any additional postage/insurance costs associated with shipping the item to their door.
I ship via USPS, using priority mail. All knives will be insured and all shipments will be sent with a signature confirmation. This protects both myself and the buyer.
I prefer paypal (please email me for my paypal address) but will take USPS money orders as well. I do not charge paypal fees.
Please post "I'll take it" and the knife wanted if you wish to purchase one of the knives listed for sale. First come, first serve type of thing.
Once payment is received, the item will ship within 2 business days. I will send you an email with the tracking information.
The best way to contact me is via email - please click my user name to send me an email. I will also respond to messages, but don't login nearly as often (as I do with email) so it may be several hours before I respond (possibly even a full day).
If you have questions, please ask them. I'll do my best to answer them for you.
Thanks for looking.
JK Roach Belly $130
Torched Oak handles and John's great 01 steel. This is the only knife (of the bunch) that has seen use or been sharpened. It handles great and would make an excellent camp knife or kitchen knife. It has plenty of belly for slicing and dicing. Made from 1/8 inch 01 steel, this one is thin enough to be a great slicer, but thick enough to handle pretty much anything you can throw its way.

DP Trail Guide $150 SOLD - knifeg
Beautiful Ebony and Ironwood handles, with a combination of both brass and mosaic pins. The steel used is 1095 and I believe it is probably 1/8 inch. This is a knife designed for hard work but so beautiful that it would make a great addition to any collection. It is unused - never cut a thing, never been sharpened. It has been fondled though, but will arrive at your door in the same condition it arrived from the maker.

Breeden Kephart $140
Bryan knows sharp. Seriously, Bryan really knows how to make his knives sharp. While this knife is unused, I have 4 Breeden knives that do see use and all of them arrived incredibly sharp. This one has cocobolo scales. I'm not positive about the steel used but suspect it is probably 01. This knife was made to be used - it feels great in the hand and it comes with a very nice leather sheath.

Breeden Pathfinder $140 SOLD - TLA
This is a slightly shorter version of Bryan's rather famous Pathfinder. It features a micarta handle and a blade that is approximately 4 inches. The handle color is a green (almost black) and provides plenty of grip. This knife is unused and never been sharpened (by anyone other than the maker). I love the shape of the blade (I have two other Breeden knives with the same blade shape) and believe the shape of the blade is part of the reason why these type of knives cut like a laser. If you want a serious, hard-use, tool for out in the woods - this is the knife you want.

M. Presnell Forged Hunter $140 SOLD - mattellis2
This knife is a real beauty; it feels great in the hand and looks even better. Made from Aldo's 1084 steel (3/16 thick). It features a gorgeous handle out of Brazilian Tigerwood and brass pins. This knife is unused and has not been sharpened (other than by the maker). It will arrive at your door in the same condition it arrived at mine. The sheath is a real work of art and lends to the overall beauty of the whole package.

JK Osage Skinner $150 SOLD - knifeg
This is a one of a kind knife from John - it features a stamped #1 on one side and beautiful Osage handles (brass pins). This one feels fantastic in my hand and would be a perfect choice for those who hunt. Made from 01 steel, the blade is 1/8th inch and has John's rather famous heat treatment. This knife is unused: it hasn't cut anything nor have I sharpened it. I won't be sorry if it doesn't sell.

JK Hiker $150
This is stamped #1 for the first in a series of a special run John made. The handle is Ebony with hollow brass pins. Made of 01 steel, 1/8th of an inch thick. This is a great knife; reminding me somewhat of a slightly scaled down version of a kephart. It feels great in my hand and is light and nimble. This knife has not been used or sharpened (other than by John) - it will arrive at your door as it arrived from the maker. I think this one would be a perfect choice for anyone wanting a hard-use tool that would be at home in the camp, on the job, or out in the woods.

MLL Walnut 01 $150 SOLD - solid4ever
I don't know the model name of this knife. It features Walnut handles and 01 steel; I believe the thickness is probably 3/16 of an inch. Thin black and red liners compliment the handles (brass pins). This knife is unused and will arrive at your door in the same condition it arrived from the maker. I think this one would be a real work-horse for anyone who decides to put it in use.
