I like the height and room for the fingers, seems you can get a lot of use out of this thing. Cool sheath too, set that down in the wrong place and you'll loose it

Just curious, can you tell me more about PSF 27 steel? Carbon or stainless, how hard to sharpen? Thanks, cool knife, the handle looks almost like a chef knife's handle.

PSF 27 is a Spray Formed Steel with the same composition as D2 which makes it almost stainless.
The Spray Form process gives the steel a finer grain than cast but not as fine as with the powder process.
A better dispersion of carbides is also attained.
This combined gives more edge holding and toughness while maintaining the aggressive cutting properties associated with cast D2.
It is a very enjoyable steel to work with both when soft and hard, and is not difficult to sharpen or care for.

The knife is intended as a light duty camp knife or heavy duty chef knife; it can do some wood work as well as being very comfortable in the kitchen.
