This is a semi-repost, however I just finished up a quilted maple saya to go with this 8" S35VN chef's. Also, the original pictures didn't do justice to this ironwood, hopefully these do a little better job. This knife is .140" at the widest part of the spine, with full distal taper and tapered tang. Thus the mass is very central to the pinch-grip point and the blade has nice weight to it, especially for a full flat blade that is 0.004" at the edge. Heat treated by Peters as always, to 60 HRC.
