You just put Jed Clammpet to shame. Very good work with your blade. Its just One of the reasons I enjoy knives. They are just Fun to use. Good steel can make wonderful things. I'm gonna look for a nice piece of wood this weekend, and see what I come up with. But your's belongs in the family show case. Thats a great job:thumbup: enjoy edgy :thumbup:
I was on a surveillance watching a guy across the street. Not a "domestic" thing, but rather for the State. Nuf said about that. Sitting there for so long, I do go a little stir crazy, so, whittling is a nice quiet activity to keep me sane. I actually did not take a final photo with the handle perfectly smooth. I'm telling you, scraping is darn near as effective as sand paper. I'll post other things I whittle on a different day. Some take months.
And yes, being as quiet as a bunny, or is it quick like a bunny, quiet like a ??? Oh, whatever. I did see a nice buck. I could have dropped him, but, then blown my cover. (I'll get him in a couple months) I also had a woodchuck walk right up to me and run after I kicked him, a mouse take a wood shaving and go into his hole, two huge furry caterpillars walk up my leg, something crawl down the back of my shirt and countless mosquito's try to get near me, but, afraid to enter the DEET forcefield. The black pole you see is my camera Mono pod.

Great job man! I was looking around for one and ended up buying a Cold Steel African Walking Stick which is made out of some type of harp poly? plastic.
