I just finished up a show, and I have a couple kitchen knives up for grabs. The first is this 8" blade western chef knife.
This one is very thinly ground with a tapered tang. The handle is some fantastic stabilized maple burl handle with black G10 liners and carbon fiber pins.
Here are the specs.
Blade - 8"
Oal - 12 3/4"
Steel - 14c28n stainless Cryo treated
Handle - AAAA Stabilized maple burl handle, black liners and carbon fiber pins, tapered tang
