I accepted this old cleaver as payment for a few hours work for a nice little old lady from New York who says it belonged to her mother, so she has never known how to use it. This has left the edge in pristine condition, which is wonderful as these old cleaver's usually have a bunch of edge damage. The face of the blade is very worn, but you can just make out a maker's mark and the year 1937.
The OAL is 14" with a 8" blade and a tapered tang.
