801CF Available for pre-order

I put my name down and everything but depending on how many they get and how many people have pre-ordered before me I won't be holding my breathe.
 
I'm in. I've been trying to stay away from spendy blades, but I can't help myself.
 
Yeah, Im not holding my breath with that place. They have a habit of taking massive amounts of preorders fully knowing they will NEVER be able to fill them all. I have a pre order with them but I fully know my only chance of getting it is if the 600 people before me bail out.

They wouldn 't do that because in many cases they don't fulfill their pre-orders. Haha. At least I never got my pre-orders... :rolleyes:

I'm confused. It is a LOT cheaper than I expected it to be. Therefore there is no way I am not pre-ordering this.

I preordered it, but they charged me for shipping. KC always gave me free shipping when spending this much. Odd.
 
K, just got off the phone with them, they'll adjust the amount for free shipping but you have to email customer support after you order. Just a problem with their system.
 
I wish they could do the bronze finish on the regular production. I may still swing the special edition but I have to get rid of the cf insert for a green canvas. I cant preorder cause I dont know when it will be available and where I will be living at the time. Great work though kai. I got three to four of your knives on my to buy list
 
I pre-ordered mine this afternoon.

I liked the regular 801, but i was kinda iffy about when I was going to actually buy it, but this one is a ridiculously good looking knife.

For those thinking they won't get their pre-order.........you'd be surprised that less people are willing to commit to a pre-order than you think they are. I was able to pre-order a ZT 888Max about 8 weeks ago from a website that is only getting 10 of each.

I would bet that anyone pre-ordering within the next few days will probably be good to go.
 
I think the earlier you order, the better chance you have to get one. I got my pre order for the 0560CBCF just fine. The 0777 on the other hand..... Still saying my prayers

That's what happened to me with the 0560cfcb. I put in an order months after they posted it and 2 weeks ago just out of the blue one showed up at my door. No e-mail or nothing from them, I think I got it because so many people bailed on them that I got one. They also had one of the best prices on them at 340 and I just picked up another one from NG, couldn't resist at 320. So anyway I got on the pre-order pretty early so I'll remain hopeful.
 
Anyone else notice they are about $80 off on msrp? I wonder if thats going to translate into a higher price when for you pre order guys when it comes time?
