806, Military, SERE 2000?????

Well I would have to say the S2K is the way to go. I have had one since day one and without adoubt the finest production liner locking folder I have ever handled. I currently own a few BM's, Spyderco's, CS, CRKT,EKI's, and more than a few fixed blades and more folders than those mentioned. Point to all of this is that the SERE is the finest finished, highest polished, closest precision fit, and has the best blade steel of any of them. Also the smoothest opener and the most reliable liner lock I have used. Ergo's of the handle are superb also. Opens like it is butter and the liner lock has never moved one iota from the first opening. I rotate it frequently with a modified CQC7 I have had a professional sharpener redo the edge on. Both knives are hair splitting sharp but the ergo's and fit and finish go to the SERE hands down. Keep'em sharp

FWIW, I carry the SERE 2000 everyday behind the ballisic plate in my vest... just in case:cool: SPG

Glad I have a SERE 2000 under the tree with all these comments. It's going to be hard to keep myself from opening it early. :)

Nimravus,

Wait for the Benchmade/Blackwood to come out first before you make your decision.

Or look into an Extrema Ratio MPC or Fulcrum. ;)
