About the Knife
This little knife is one you will want to carry every day. Its unique shape allows for multiple grip styles, and its wide drop point blade makes short work of everything from opening packages to sharpening tent stakes. The Kydex sheath has a removable belt loop that hangs the knife just below the top of your belt, so it won’t pinch you when you move around. If you like the ease of carry of a pocketknife but need the durability of a full tang fixed blade, then this one’s for you.

About Four Eighty Knives, from Dan Hamilton
Fellow outdoors and knives enthusiasts,I'm Dan Hamilton, Co-Founder and Chief Bladesmith here at Four Eighty Knives. In 2022 my business partner Martin Ramirez and I decided to try to bring my hand-forged knife designs to a broader market of campers, bushcrafters, and outdoor adventurers. While I love hand forging each blade, it quickly became obvious that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the volume and price point necessary to make our dream a reality. Using my unique hand-forged blades as a template, we now waterjet cut the knife blanks out of the same steel I forge with, but I still hand grind and finish each knife with the same care and technique as my forged blades.
Our goal is to provide the most authentic, durable, and affordable outdoor knives possible while retaining the original spirit and quality of a hand-forged blade. All the designs at Four Eighty Knives are based on blades I have personally forged and tested in the field. We stand by the quality and design of every knife that leaves our shop. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, we will do everything we can to make it right.

I want to thank Spark for the prompt replies to my emails and for guidance on how to join this community properly. Both Dan and I have been browsing the website for a while, and after over a year of mulling over which designs to bring to life, we wanted to post here first. I hope you like our work, and we are looking forward to connecting with and learning from you all.Thank you,
Martin & Dan
