Hello all, I have a hunter to list. The blade is forged 80CRV2 sporting a 12" contact wheel hollow grind and a little forging texture near the spine of the blade. The handle is a piece of hard "curly" maple sculpted and tied together with 1/8" brass pins. This knife comes with a kydex "sheath"/storage holster. There is a bit of pitted texturing on the blade bevels. Sand blasting and polish grinding gives it a clean look but it is still a noticeable texture so I thought I'd include that bit of information in the description.

Specifications:
Overall Length: 8 1/2"
Blade Length: 3 7/8"
Handle Length: 4 7/8"
Thickness: 3/16" at it's thickest point
Blade Material: 80CRV2
Handle Material: Curly Maple (dyed)
Pin Material: Brass
Grind: Hollow
Finish: Clean

Price = $115 Shipped

Very interesting design. Do you mind posting a picture that looks straight down the back of the knife. It’s hard (at least for me) to get a sense of how your handles are shaped. They look very cool but would really appreciate that extra view.

Sure, the lights crummy this morning but you get the idea.

how do you do the antique/ fading on the scales? stain and wipe?
sandblast, dye, let it dry, then fine steel wool, and Danish oil to finish. Nice and smooth, and it looks cool. The dye absorbs more readily into the wood in some areas so those naturally become darker.
