80s jungle knife bonanza

Of course I had the Camo one along with the Pakastani Buck 110 look a likes that were impossible to sharpen, Still have a Kershaw 1005 to feed my Rambo knife cravings.

What I always was obsessed with was the monster sized knife that Billy carried in predator!

You can still get them at harbor freight. Still the same as ever. Except the faux leather sheath is now nylon.

I never got to have one of these Rambos as a kid but did get some great flea market butterfly knives and a really junky but huge bowie! Lol. I still have one of the butterflies upstairs somewhere.

I had a few and still have a Timberline and a Sanders model. They are better than the Lile SlyII which I also had.

On a side note, Billy drawing his knife to face the Predator is still the most manly movie scene produced. It could be used in hormone therapy sessions

Growing up in the 80s, all straight male generation X’ers must confess to at some point having experienced a strong craving for one of those hollow handle “jungle knives” found in mail order catalogues of the time (otherwise typically featuring Samantha Fox posters, vhs copying hardware et c).
I had one of those knives. It featured a serrated-ish back and a useful, hollow handle with a compass, some fishing line and whatnot. I seem to recall it had a simple camo coating, and that there was a sharpening stone attached to the leather sheath. You get the picture.
For sentimental reasons, I find myself looking at eBay to see if I can find an identical such knife. Do/did you own one? Don’t be ashamed, please share

I sure did. I don't know where that knife went. I have certainly upped my knife game since then.

Still have mine, I think this was my second one. The first one I had got destroyed somewhere along the way

Incredibly it seems the original stuff inside the hollow handle is still there. But what is this cranskshafty thing? There are two of them.

I admit to childishly drooling over the signature predator knife, but it is out of stock here in Sweden
