I've been a huge fan of the 810 since it came out. This version hits the mark on every level I can think of. What an outstanding piece.

$400 is MSRP. Benchmade forums members were given a discount, but then had to pay tax and shipping. Nonetheless, I can honestly say quality is on par with gold glass and CRK knives, so their MSRP is fair.
 
Is it still $276.50? If so, how much was it with tax and shipping?

Just over $300 depending on where you live and your states tax rate. I was originally given free shipping but changed it from UPS to USPS so I had to pay the shipping also.

The final cost with tax and shipping was $305.39 all said and done.

Same for me :( They need to do another run. Print "not first run" on the blade so the forumites still have a unique variant and let the rest of us try again!
 
Obviously, Benchmade has a preference for members and active participants on their dedicated forum than the one on BF.

And there's nothing wrong with that, it's their home forum.

A few of us have been asking for a CF 810 for years now on the home forum, I'm grateful they listened..
 
If I could spare it I'd buy one in a heartbeat, that said I can't spend a weeks salary on a knife without saving a while....FML

Agreed - great ask, and I am glad they listened too, just wish I had been paying attention over the summer.
 
Now if they would only release a new AFCK in a similar style (DLC, CF scales, any premium steel will do) all would be well in my world...
 
Funny how they can strip a knife of all its useful features and charge extra for it. It's got zero grip and a penis clip to boot. I guess it is lbgtfag friendly.
