Mine had a little lazy snap on the drop point blade but it just took some breaking in and it smoothed out and got much better. I also polished the bolsters and scales as the satin finish just looks like poo poo.

My micarta user has slightly better snap than my copperhead and elderberry. I would say pretty much a perfect 5. I also polished the bolsters and shield, don't like the satin.

I appreciated how the blades were ground and they took a very even and small 18 DPS bevel. (I really don't like wide edge bevels). The tips, while not as fine an an older stockman, are pretty good for gec. All this praise about it makes me want to edc it again.

There are natural canvas possum skinners available. Go to rhymes with [a non-BF dealer].

Glad another thread popped up about this knife. Been carrying mine almost daily since the latest run. Its hard to say if its my favorite knife because I also have the 2019 forum knife, which is pretty special as I helped design it last year. But that aside im now a stockman lover and hope to pick up a few more of various brands, and would also like one or two more of these! This is a fine knife and slicey as all get out. I love it and its been very trusty. I have the copperhead and its starting to get a bit of nice pocket wear, and really becoming a knife im attached to.
