I really like these 804 split-spring whittlers in general and the Schrade Cutlery 85th Anniversary version came with some premium options. Sterling silver bolsters and shield, burnt Sambar handles, gold-filled etch on polished-one-side blade. 1000 knives issued. Fancy display box for it to sit in. No flocked plastic vacuum-tray here. Though I don't mind those either. This one came covered in fine circular polishing scratches and by the time it arrived the shield had fallen out. I'm just glad it wasn't lost somewhere. Knife got the full spa treatment including re-affixing the shield with some JB-Weld original epoxy. I'm pleased with the results of my efforts and it is now a new looking example. Fully complete with all it's original bling. Original condition: Fixed and cleaned: Lookin' good.
