Good morning friends, this is the prototype of my XL version Prevail model. Designed for aggressive slicing, and a point that will do well in strength and penetration. A beast of a knife that can also actually cut exceptionally well! The handle is Suretouch, an ingenious layering of G10 and rubber, which provides the benefits of both, while eliminating the liabilities of each. A Suretouch handle is comfortable and seems to have some give in the hand, yet it is very solid. It provides better grip than regular G10 or Micarta, or anything except straight rubber. This particular knife, as a prototype, was carried for a short time and performed some work, but has its whole life ahead of it. Nevertheless, I am posting it at a reduced price of
, down from the original price of
....
Specs
Steel: 3/16" 8670
Geometry: Full flatvex
Overall Length: 9 1/2"
Cutting Edge Length: 4 1/2"
Weight: 8 oz
Handle: Suretouch as above
Sheath: Black Boltaron taco sheath included
Note: Maker's mark is a lighter color, and hard to photograph, but it is a deep etch and looks good in person.
SOLD

LC200N necker
The handle on this also is Suretouch, and despite the look of the handle profile and lack of guard, I have never handled a more secure neck knife. It is a prototype as well and I carried it for a couple weeks for R&D. There is a slight grind irregularity, the left bevel is ground a little deeper into the stock near the heel of the blade. Aesthetic only. Aside from that this worked out in every conceivable way and I consider it a design worth developing further.
The grind has convex geometry balancing sharpness and robustness.
Overall length: 5 3/16"
Length with fob: 6 1/2"
Cutting edge length: 2 1/8"
Knife weight: 2.0 oz
Sheath weight: .8 oz
SOLD
Thanks for looking!
