880SP thickness?

I don't have the 880SP but I do have the 881SP, and since no one seems to have any measurements maybe this will give you an idea.

At the thickest point on the handle, not including the clip, it's 9/16" or about 14mm.
 
About 21/32" or 16.5mm on mine.

are you all talking thickness or blade width? I've 4.5mm / 11/64" and 23 mm / 30/32 " wide.handle thickness as above and width right at 1 inch. This is for the 881sp. blade length is 2 15/16.
 
I have just purchased a Buck 880TX and like it very much. The thickness of the knife and especially the blade adds to the overall confidence I have in this knife due to its sturdiness. No complaints from me. Read my evaluation under the Buck MFG discussion posted last night or early this morning. June 4th or 5th 2004.
