Hi all, am I right in thinking that I can adjust the lockup on my 890 by rotating the hexagonal blade stop? It looks as though its a cam type set up.

Thanks in advance Kris,.

Sort of hard to kow what in the world you are talking about, no details, no pictures, ?

The answer is yes. By backing off the set screw on the right side to loosen the hex nut, allows the user to adjust the knife to compensate for any wear.

Thanks jkarp, I was hoping someone would know what I was talking about,

My new 890 came with the linerlock going all the way to the other side and touching the opposite liner, Now that I have made the adjustment the lock sits early at about 40% lock up. and with more adjustment as the lock wears.
Sorry, will post before and after pics tomorrow so you all know what I'm talking about,
Kris,.

...and by backing off the set screw on the side of the G10 scale and disengaging the lock, it can be rotated, thus allowing for lock up to be adjusted, all the way from zero lockup,....
