Ted, These seem to come in batches so hopefully you will catch another soon. I've wanted a seax and when I saw it was by Sher I had to jump. His handles fit me better than the other kamis' - usually larger in diameter.

No worries Lloyd. It was a spontaneous email egged on by Jai. It's all good and I actually prefer smaller handles myself. Nice to know Sher makes larger diameter handles.

I have a pair of seax's, both etched with runic characters by Ferrous (Keith) a couple of years ago, but either Sher was just learning on one back then or he has gotten a hell of a lot more skillful. This one today is about the nicest I have ever seen. I have a clean satisal one by Kumar, but my horn Sher will have to be rehandled by Dan I think.

Very nice snag! There have been a 2 or 3 smooth handled villager KK's now. This one reminds me of one of Ragnar's Jarvenpaa leuku knives. Even the handle is light colored like curly birch.

Emailed, and heres hoping. Can't stay up tonight as I'm still moving house so its an 8am start for me tomorow and a 2 hour drive one way. Urg.
