Chuck Gedraitis Damascus Persian Linerlock in Blacklip MOP
Blade Length - 3.25" sharpened 3.5" long
Handle: 4.25"
OAL - 7.75"
Thickness: 7/16"
Steel - Unknown damascus composition
Hey all,
Here's another favorite of mine that has to go.
This linerlock features a stunning and still pocket-friendly persian-influenced design. Symmetrical and intentional craftsmanship from a really talented maker. Tang is fully hidden by the swell of the bolster. Front and rear bolsters are large and shapely in a persian way, rendered in patinated bronze that has been stipeled in parts to give it a pattern. The scales are absolutely stunning blacklip MOP with a lot of fire. It's a pleasure to behold Titanium liners have been anodized and file worked, with a fileworked stainless steel backspacer. Centered damascus blade is looooong and shapely, with a long nail pull like a slipjoint instead of the expected thumb stud. It can still be opened with one hand with a little effort. no play i can see. Midway lockup is real solid, nice satisfying detent.
It's a unique and gorgeous knife with great feeling in hand and in pocket that I think ages really nicely. It has been carried a little, used even less, but does feature some marks on the small marks blade that you might expect from a used knife over 10 years old.
This was originally priced by Chuck at $1250 I believe. Asking closed for con us insured shipping. First I take it here or in dm gets it.
Cliff Parker - Mosaic Damascus gents liner lock
OAL - 6 7/16”
Blade length - 3”
Closed length - 3 1/2”
1.2 oz
Cliff’s a great dude and a really capable maker. Very few make small, slender, lean gents knives of this quality. Disappears in the pocket. Premium gold lip pearl scales with lots of color and fire. Cliff's long been a master of mosaic Damascus, shown here in bolsters, blade, and backstrap. Beautifully file worked anodized blue titanium liners, gold thumb stud with gold lip pearl inlay. Nice lockup, tiniest play, perfect blade centering. Carried but never used, not for lack of looking for opportunities. No signs of wear I can see.
It’s a beaut, with a few hundred dollars of what you’d pay for it new. Asking closed for a quick sale.
Mark Daley Higonokami Friction Folder
OAL 5 15/16"
Blade Length 2.5"
Closed Length 3 7/8
This beauty is completely handmade by Mark Daley, a jeweler turned cutler whose style I really dig. This elegant piece is rendered in bronze, textured all over with a chasing tool. CPM154 blade, with kind of an orange peel textured flat and a gorgeous handrubbed finish. Varied floral pattern on the butt, textured pivot, 308 stainless domed pin. Good centering and blade grind symmetry. A really thin and useful carry in a distinctive style. It’s seen very little pocket time and almost no use. Ive admired it over the years, and it’s time to see it go to a new home
