Here is the final knife of this batch. Like all the others, the blade is Aldo's AEB-L, heat treated by Peters' to 61 HRC. Hand finished to 600 grit satin and taken to 0.006" at the edge before sharpening. This one is .125 at the widest part of the spine, with tapered tang and full distal taper. The handle is stunning two-tone desert ironwood with vivid golden sapwood and really nice black burl grain in the heartwood. The saya is mesquite with curly/banded figure and nice shimmery chatoyance, the blade relief is hand carved and fits nice and snug. Liners are G10, pins are brass corbys and a house-made mosaic. Thanks for looking, please reply or email with any questions. $475 shipped.
