9" Curly Hunter

Here is one I just finished and is going to another forum member (thanks Mark). This is 9.5" long and 4.875" tip to guard. It is my 5160 flat ground with a thin brass guard. It is a Curly stabilized handle with a stabilized Cherry Burl and black spacers. I used a hidden pin and covered the ends with crushed Malachite. Thanks for looking. -Burton

Nice. Is the handle curly maple?? Looks like a finer curl toward the pommel.

Thanks Chuck I think it is a curly maple but some of it that I have almost looks more like a quilted maple. I have a few more pieces that I am going to have stabilized soon.
