I recently finished these three up, they are made from 3/16" O1 Steel and are chisel ground with a polished convex microbevel. I used three different handle materials,a three color MCAM camo in green/black/tan, another three color coyote brown/black/grey and my own handmade black burlap "coppercarta". I call it coppercarta because I used some copper dye in the resin when I made the scales, they have shades of copper and green in them. The blade finish is a satin finish with a polished edge and highlights.

They are roughly 9" long and have 4.5" blades and handles with a great balanced feel. The hardware is flared stainless steel tubing which acts as rivets to mechanically hold the scales on along with the ultra strong g-flex epoxy I use. I do the heat treat with my digitally controlled kiln and purpose made quenching oil.

Each knife comes with a kydex sheath, I can include a belt loop for 5$ extra or a tek-lok for my cost of $!0.

Handmade in the USA - Sole Authorship

$150 each shipped The Black Coppercarta and the Coyote/black/grey knives are sold. The MCAM (green/black/tan) one is still available!

Nice, digging' the MCAM,it's going to look great on my bushcrafter too.
Your chisel grind rocks daniel.

SUPER clean Daniel, keep up the good work!!

Is teh Coyote still available? Also, how do you sharpen the blade? I never had to sharpen that type of blade grind before... Thanks!

It is still available! You can sharpen it with your preferred method on the bevel side, any microbevel should work depending on your preference.

You can also maintain the slightly convexed microbevel it has by stropping a few times on the main bevel to one flat pass on the back. This is my preferred maintenance method. If you need to sharpen, 1000-2000 grit paper on a mouse pad or leather backing will do the trick.

Another alternative is to just sharpen the back by keeping it flat and passing it on a stone or adding a small microbevel on the back, I'd keep a back bevel very shallow if you want to go that route. The cool thing about chisel grinds is that you generally only need to sharpen one side so they are quick to sharpen up.
