Thanks to those that posted in this thread, I value the feedback received from each and every one.

I call this one a fighter but it would be equally at home in the camp site or cutting brush on the trail. Here are the specs:

Steel- 5160 X 1/4
AOL- just shy of 14 inches
Grind- flat with distal taper on the last third of the blade
HT- in house double quenched and tempered
Finish- hand sanded to 1000 grit
Blade- just shy of 9 inches to front of guard
Guard- 416 stainless
Handle- 5 inches to front of guard
Scales- Black canvas micarta left grippy
Hardware- stainless pins and lanyard tube
Sheath-RH handsewn pouch style, included

KBamhi, on this paticular knife that would not be possible. It is extremely sharp and complete. I do have a design I have been working on for hog hunting that has a sharpened clip. Blade length is slightly over 9 inches. I'll take a picture of my sketch and email it to you.
 
I have a custom knife Mr. Hoover made for me about a month ago and one I got off the forums. Trust me you will not be disappointed with this knife.
