Last but certainly not least for this batch, here are the big guns. Full flat ground in Aldo's AEB-L, heat treated by Peters' to 61 HRC. The tangs are tapered, and the blades are hand finished to 600 grit. Width at the spines is 0.13" with full distal taper. The handles are stabilized amboyna burl and maple burl with G10 liners, affixed with two brass corbys and my mosaic pins. The sayas are tri-layered curly maple over red mesquite, with hand cut blade relief and a nice snug interference fit. Both were taken quite thin at the edge before sharpening, .004" for the Kiritsuke and 0.005" for the Chef's. Sharpened up to a mirror edge on the strop. Please let me know if you have any questions, either in the thread here or via email or phone. First "I'll take it" claims priority. As always, thanks for having a look!

$500 each shipped, $950 for the pair.
