Here's another one of my "taking a break" knives, built for hard use and affordable.

Inspired by the traditional Chinese 9 ring broadsword, I basically scaled it down into a camp knife version and gave it an ergonomic handle. Makes a heck of a chopper!

Here's a picture of it freshly ground:

Finished:

Also included is a heavy duty 8-9 oz leather sheath. (Haven't had a chance to take pics yet).

Blade is 5160 heat treated to HRC 60 with a soft back draw.
Overall Length: 13.5"
Blade Length to top of Scales: 8.25"
Thickness at Ricasso: 0.318"
Blade Width: 2.25" (widest point)
Handle: Symmetrically sculpted green canvas micarta with brass tube rivets.

Price: SOLD includes shipping to CONUS.

The knife goes to the first person who posts "I'll take it".

That's one heckofa blade there! Quite the beast. Great work!

I assume it is a flat ground knife after being created by someone with a name like yours. What is the finish on the blade? It looks to be coated with something or maybe its just the angle of the shot.

It is flat ground. The blade has been enamel coated for rust resistance. I've found that it is as durable as GunKote.
