Hi, here's one I recently finished. Blade is forged, 9" of clay hardened W2. Polished to bring out hamon. I know it's not necessary for a using knife, but the hamons there so I figure why not show it off. Handle is fiddleback rosewood and a bit of burl, species forgotten..
Blade is a touch thicker along spine than most of my kitchen knives, but seems appropriate for the longer length and still very light and fast. Near zero edge geometry, and very sharp.
