90 day 90$ challenge

easy for me. I've been carrying a PM2 for way more than 90 days.

a used PM2 somebody didn't want to or couldn't resharpen off the exchange.

If its $90 new, I'd be fine with an Endura, delica, or SALT
 
I usually carry 2 or 3 knives all the time, and most of the time all three are under $90 anyways. Lol.

My left pocket knife 95% of the time is a victorinox alox farmer, the other 5% its an opinal #8. I like to have a knife on me that doesn't scare people. Lol

My main folder is rotated pretty regularly, just because. It is anyones guess most days if I have : a cold steel pocket bushman, a buck vanguard with the paperstone handles,a Kershaw skyline, a g10 Kershaw needs work, or my black g10 Kershaw tyrade(I think this one was more than $90 though.) I like all of these knives a lot, and wouldn't feel bad if I got stuck with any of them.

The knife that sees the most use, however, is some made in china, gas station counter spyderco knock - off that I've had since I was in junior high (30 now) that I carry in my coveralls at work every day to cut stuff I don't want to risk my good knives on, or to loan to people. It's actually impressed me by not dying after all of these years.

I carry 5 knives with me(2 in pockets, 2 with the keys, and 1 in fanny pack) daily. Hehehe

Well, maybe my blue para if it's just for 90 days. Or fixed VECP...Or my ZT 300...
 
ive been carrying an opinel #7 since i got it a month and a half ago so i would have to say an opinel #7.
 
this is easy, my buck vantage pro. I love the thing. Since I worked the handle over a little to remove unpleasant edges, it's very pleasant to hold. The Bos S30V holds up great. The blade geometry makes it a great slicer through most anything. The pocket clip makes it completely dissapear when I'm in places I want it to dissapear in. For a budget edc, it's one of my favorties.

I carried a paramilitary 2 for over 3 months straight, but it's a little over $90. So....I would go with the izula 2.

Now no one really has to do this or anything, but i just thought it would be fun, more realistic then those 1 knife for the rest of your life threads, 3 months isnt long, but it can be very long depending on the circumstances.

And hey, if you guys don't think itll be fun thats alright, please don't flame or troll me or anything like that, im just trying to lift stuff up a little, I know how most of the people feel about me here, iv also been having a bit of a rough time IRL lately too, Lost my job on monday so i know what im doing all day every day this week.

I guess if some omnipotent being forced me to carry just one knife for 90 days (you'd think omnipotent beings would have better things to do with their time...) it might be a Vic Super Tinker.

Wanted to quit, Didnt want to get fired, also i didnt get that job so.. now im unemployed, Hopefully not for long though.
 
I have been EDCing my CRKT M16-01KZ (3 in plain edge spear point) for about 8 months (skipped summer, when I carry a Leatherman Wave). It was a gift so it cost less than $90.
 
This is awesome, I'm going to try this but be realistic with myself and shoot for just a week straight ;). That would be an accomplishment!
 
I am going to try to carry my vitorinox hunter for 3 months.

But first I am gonna make a wallet sheath for it and my credit cards..

Not very cool but super practical...

If I could afford it I'd get a bark river city knife. It also has the leather sheath wallet.
 
Good luck on job-hunting for those unemployed BF members! Carry 1 knife for 90 days? Sorry, can't do it. If it counts for anything only one of my 40 or so knives cost over $100.

Spyderco Delica for sure. It's not too intimidating in public and it's very useful and well built. I'd probably pick up a leatherman with no knife too :).
In Australia Delicas are like 115 dollars though :(. We're going by American prices, right?
 
I think the only sub-$90 knife that I own that would be practical for edc work would be my 30+ year old Buck 110 ($25). And I certainly wouldn't feel "under-knifed" if that was the only folder I could carry.
