Well said Mick,
I am out here on East Coast and we just had every one in my building stop work go outside and we held a moment of silence followed by our National Anthem.

Thankfully I work at a place where thats cool.

Thankfully I live in a country that will hunt down those who killed on that day!

Stay Vigilant

Thanks

I was wondering when we would hear from you on this Day of Observance. We should never forget what was taken from us and the price that has been paid. We should endeavor to eliminate those responsible. Hold your family close...stay vigilant. Stay sharp.
Joe
p.s. Special thanks to our men and women in uniform and especially those at the pointy end of the stick.

I thank all who stand on guard for others, be they soldiers, firemen, police officers, etc.

May peace be with us all...

I have spent all day today at work in a huff. I was angry and sad and about to jump out of my skin.

it was like PTSD all over again. I have a feeling a large part of America is in stress today.

"If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backwards glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go..."

-Major Micheal Davies O’Donnell, Jan’70

Never forget!

for those who lives was lose may we stand and toast to the nypd, firefighters, the court officers, the emts, and the innceont victims. and also to the me who will stand and fight these sons of bitches to the darkness of hell and back.

Amen

On this day we never forget,
On this day we shall walk tall,
On this day we paid a high price,
On this day we saw freedom stumble;
but it did not fall.

Live free and remember all whom have given their lives to this cause called Freedom!

Watch now our children play free and pray thanks to our fathers and mothers who bought our freedom.

As a DJ my job is to keep the music running and the club going...Today I stopped the computer for a grand total of 1minute 30 seconds...Just silence in a Strip Club. Very strange; the manager called on the radio and yelled about music. Imade my announcment about 09-11-2001....Played a song from one of our radio stations about dropping bombs on the Taliban and then back to the norm. I was saddened by the lack of responce from the crowd until I played the song...Sometimes the crowd gets it sometimes they dont. Oh well guess they greve their own way. I am glad to see some new faces here on this post and hope to see more regulars soon.

The Print is called "Silent Tribute" Hope you guys like.

"I have spent all day today at work in a huff. I was angry and sad and about to jump out of my skin."

My experience, exactly.

Tonight, I spent time with my wife (who has a severe case of PTSD) and my stepson, explaining how we can NEVER forget what was done, how we can NOT afford to stop till we have brought justice to EVERY person who had ANYTHING to do with this act of COWARDICE.

I went on to say how proud I am of our service men who are involved in this war. I can't emphasize that enough. Freedom is not cheap. It is bought with blood.
